Le Tour Acadien: The card game
Le Tour Acadien: The card game
Le Tour Acadien is a "made is Chezzetcook" exclusive card game created in partnership with 16 Acadian organizations from around the world.
The designs, inspired by classic Tarot cards, were created by local artist Danica Wells. Each card has an Acadian name from different parts of the world and the designs are inspired by local heroes, legends or places. The only exception is the most powerful card of the entire deck, which represents the original people of Nova Scotia, the Mi'kmaq and the card has the name of their land Mi'kma'ki. This is a tribute to the Mi'kmaq people, thanks to whom the Acadians learned to survive, and were able to settle in Mi'kma'ki, their new homeland.
